Obituary:

Lindsay F. Britton passed away at his home in San Antonio on Friday, December 12, 2014, after his valiant fight against pancreatic cancer. He was 45 years old. He was born in Swan Hill, Australia, on July 4, 1969, to Bernard and Frances Britton.

Lindsay is survived by his wife Stacey and son Casey; his parents, Bernard and Frances Britton of Glendale, Queensland, Australia; his brothers, Terry Britton and Roger Britton (Lynn) of Glendale, Queensland, Australia, and Kimberly Britton (Sarah) of Oxley, Queensland, Australia; his nieces and nephews, Tayler, Jessica, and Isabelle; his in-laws, the Willoughby family of Frisco; his extended family in Tasmania; and his 3 furry children, Sophie, Paris, and Bella.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, the Brittons and the Mays.

Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M University in Kingsville, where he was an ROTC Ranger cadet. He worked for Otto Dukes in San Antonio. He was a small business owner with his company CNC Solutions based in San Antonio. He received Salesman of the Year 3 times in a row while going through treatment. He was also a certified watchmaker.

He loved his country and was a true Aussie to the bone. He wasn't afraid to step out of his comfort zone and try new things. He traveled the world and lived numerous wonderful places such as England, Africa, Switzerland, and Scotland. He loved life and was successful at everything he touched. He enjoyed riding his Ducati, snowboarding, working on watches, skating, and dancing. He had a wicked sense of humor and teasing ways. His most valued time though was spent loving his wife whom he met on a blind date and playing with his son. Lindsay was a good man who completed his life's work too soon.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, December 15, at 2PM at First Baptist Church of Boerne.
