Lucille Meckel passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the age of 91.

She was born the daughter of Henry and Lydia Weiss in Welfare, Texas, on November 27, 1922. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Erwin Meckel; and a sister, Arline Schwope.

Lucille is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Sylvia Meckel and her grandson, Kurt Meckel. She is also survived by one sister, Colleen Sanderson; sister-in-law, Adela Meckel; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home with the burial following at the Boerne Cemetery.
