Landon Charles Wilks was born June 5, 1997, in San Antonio, Texas, to Edward and Francine Wilks. He passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014, at the age of 16.

He is survived by his parents, Ed and Francine Wilks; his brothers, James Wilks and William Wilks; his grandparents, David and Connie Hagler and Sue Kothmann; his aunts and uncles, Frank and Pam Hagler, Donna and Don Ewing, Doug Hagler, Connie and Kevin Connor, Robert Wilks, Kolin and Alicia Kothmann; and numerous cousins.

Landon is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bobby Wilks; maternal grandmother, Christene Lee; and great uncle and aunt, Charles Wilks and Janis Hertwig.

Landon was to be a senior at Boerne Champion High School. He was a member of nineteen:ten church and he was a Life Scout in Boy Scout Troop 18. He was also a member of the Boerne Community Theater Teen Troupe. Landon enjoyed reading, outdoor life, animals, and sharing laughter with friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 30, 2014. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at nineteen:ten church located at 130 FM 1376 on Sisterdale Highway in Boerne, TX.https://goo.gl/maps/tmezz
