Obituary:

Pamela Kay (Klingler) Calhoun, 70, of Boerne, Texas, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Pamela was born on July 31, 1943, at Scott AFB in Belleville, Illinois, to Robert Boyer Klingler and Eva Grace (Brouse) Klingler. She worked as a secretary for Petty Geophysical until she had children. Her faith and family were her life. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She and her husband Jack recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Boerne for nearly 30 years, and was a member of Faith Bible Church for several years.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband, Jack Taylor Calhoun of Boerne; two daughters, Sherri and husband Kevin Spiller of Seagraves, Texas, and Laura and husband Coby Simpson of Taylor, Texas; three grandchildren: Travis Spiller, Taylor Spiller, and Hannah Spiller all of Seagraves; a brother; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Bible Church, 1 Bergmann Road in Boerne on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pam's name to Faith Bible Church or a charity of choice.
