Troy Anthony Hallmark passed away in Boerne after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday., March 4, 2014, at the age of 44. He was born in San Antonio to Denny and Susan Hallmark on May 24, 1969.
Troy graduated from Churchill High School in San Antonio and then received a Bachelor's Degree in Management from Texas Tech University in 1991. He received his Real Estate License in 1992, and received his Brokers License in 2002. For the past 22 years, he has been a leader in the Real Estate community in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. In addition to his business endeavors, he was a very avid outdoorsman and an involved community leader. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tennis. Being active at St. Helena's Episcopal Church and Geneva School of Boerne by mentoring youth groups and leading Bible studies was very important to him. Above all else though, his number one priority was his family and his friends.
Troy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mitzi Hallmark; his only child, Haley; his parents, Denny and Susan Hallmark; his brother Trey Hallmark and wife Leslee with their children Kirsten and Braden; and a host of friends who refer to Troy as "one of the nicest guys they have ever known."
A Celebration of Troy's life will be held Friday, March 7, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Boerne in the Great Room of the Multi-Purpose Building.
