Giovanni Antonio Di Giosia of Boerne passed quietly to join his Lord and Savior on the evening of July 29, 2013, at the age of 77. By his side were his faithful wife Annette, sons Tony and Marco, daughter-in-law Lindsey and in-laws Jan and Nancy Gustafson. Originally from Italy, Giovanni is preceded in death by his parents Giuseppe and Amina. He is dearly beloved and fondly remembered by a host of friends and family, and is survived by his sister Lucia and brother Italo in Italy; two sons, Tony and wife Ellen and Marco and wife Lindsey; five grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces. The family would like to especially thank Alamo Hospice for their kindness and support during Giovanni's final days.
Giovanni and Annette met as cellists in the San Antonio Symphony and played together for over 45 years before retiring in 2012.
