Jo Anne Jones Elliott passed away in Boerne on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the age of 59. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on October 27, 1953, to Horace and Grace Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patti Ruth Jones.

Jo Anne graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in San Antonio in 1972. She then attended Southwest Texas State University where she was in the Delta Zeta Sorority and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business. Jo Anne worked for USAA for 33 years as a Systems Analyst. She was a member of the San Antonio Toastmasters and Oak Hills Church.

Jo Anne was a true lady. Her faith was strong and she was a nurturing and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was full of love, full of life, and full of laughter.

Jo Anne is survived by her daughters, Ashley (Ozment) and husband Tyler Sloan of San Antonio and Vanessa (Ozment) and husband Adam Hawkins of Boerne and their daughter Gracie Anne; her twin sister, Jimmie Sue Marquardt and husband Kenny of Anchorage, Alaska; her sisters Mary Lynn McCarty and husband Randy of Dallas, Becky Patek of Bryan, Paula Morris and husband Marty of Kerrville; 2 aunts; and 12 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Brain Foundation at www.curebraindisease.org.
