David Judson Stahl passed away after a valiant and courageous fight on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the age of 43. He was born in Santa Anna, California on October 1, 1969, to Judson L. and Virginia "Ginger" Stahl. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Judson H. and Betty Stahl.
David is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carrie Stahl of San Antonio; his three precious children, Caitlin, Christopher, and James; his parents, Judson L. and Virginia "Ginger" Stahl of San Antonio; his sister, Susan Stahl of San Antonio; his in-laws, James Milan of Manor and Ana Milan of San Antonio; and his "brother" Scott Bick of San Antonio.
David played basketball for Eastern Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree. He also graduated from the University of Las Vegas Nevada with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration. It was during his time in Vegas that he met his wife, Carrie. David worked as a Sales Manager in the Telecom industry, finishing his career at TW Telecom.
David was an extraordinary husband and father, always participating in his children's education and activities. He was a den leader for Cub Scout Pack 233 and he was a CYO Coach for soccer, football, basketball and baseball. He was also a part of his children's school's Watchdog Program. David's attitude and gratitude, even to the very end, never waivered. David was loved and respected by all who knew him.
The Recitation of the Rosary will be Friday, March 15, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in San Antonio. Visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment will follow Mass at the Boerne Cemetery.
