Ronald M. Moore, age 71, passed away January 15 after a long courageous battle with lung cancer.

Ron was born in Sugarland, TX on May 13, 1941, to Clyde and Hazel Moore. He moved to Boerne in 1948 and lived here until he joined the Air Force in 1959. After serving in the Air Force, he returned to the Hill Country and eventually settled in New Braunfels where he has lived the last 20 years. Ron started MPI, Metal Products Installation, and traveled all over the United States, Equador and Italy installing metal furniture in Government Buildings. Ron was a member of Hilltop Church.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Ronald Moore, Jr. of New Braunfels, Mark Moore of Kerrville, Teri Scribner and husband Robert of Fair Oaks Ranch, Jason Moore and wife Crystal of San Antonio; his stepson, Chris Pizzini; his eight grandchildren: Michael, Steven and Bryan Moore, Cody and Haley Scribner, Austin, Sierra and Cheyenne Moore and Haley Marie Pizzini; and his four great grandchildren: Brooklyn and Keelan Moore, Merry Moore and Prudence Moore.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2013, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, January 18, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Boerne Cemetery.
