Marjorie Carroll passed away in Boerne on October 6, 2012, at the age of 96. She was born on June 18, 1916, in Eagle Lake to James W. Hill and Ruby Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Carroll, and her brother McRae Hill.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Susan Hallmark and husband Denny and Sally Newman and husband Gary; and grandchildren Trey Hallmark, Troy Hallmark, Deanna Mitchell, Holly Smith, and Kenny Center. She was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren: Kirsten, Braden, Haley, Parker, Reese, Hailey, Presley, Emily, Shelby, and Easton.

Marjorie was a member of St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Boerne. She was also a member of the Eta Eta Chi Sorority.

Special thanks go to the staff of Heritage Place and Care Choice in Boerne for their love and care. A private family burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.
