Clinton L. "Bubba" Briggs, Jr. passed away peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, in Boerne at the age of 82. He was born in San Antonio on January 13, 1930, to Alberta Doolittle and Clinton Briggs, Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Vera A. Briggs and his brother Mark Briggs.

Clint is survived by his daughters Gerri Briggs and Jan Snell and her husband Robert; his son Robert (Bobby) Briggs and wife Holly; and his sister Billie Jo Cobb and husband Charlie. He was also blessed with 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Clint attended Brackenridge High School in San Antonio. He served with the San Antonio Fire Department for 25 years. He loved baseball and was an avid bowler at Boerne's Turn Verein.

A memorial service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Boerne on Friday, September 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. There will be a private family burial.
