On September 3, 2012, John E. "Jack" McAndrew completed a lifetime of serving our Lord with his heart and his hands.  He leaves behind a loving family so very grateful for his love, his faith, and his support. Jack was born April 30, 1940, in Indiana, Pennsylvania to John and Bernice McAndrew.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother James Francis, and sister Eileen Seitz Cook.  

Jack graduated from Oklahoma State Tech in 1961.  He married Dorla, his wife of 50 years, on February 3, 1962, in Pampa, Texas.  They were blessed with 2 daughters: Jackie McGrady and husband Kevin of Melissa, Texas and Mitzi Hallmark and husband Troy of Boerne, Texas.  They have 3 grandchildren:  Chris Malone and wife Mandy and daughter Lexi, Haley Hallmark, and Mattie McGrady.  He also leaves behind his brother Chuck McAndrew of Arlington, Texas, and brother-in-law Larry Chowning and wife Kaye of Phoenix, AZ, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.   Jack and his wife Dorla owned and operated Superior RV Center in Pampa, Texas for 40 years, retiring in 2008 and moving to Boerne, Texas. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Boerne. Inurnment will follow the service in the church's Columbarium and Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to one of the following:  The Geneva School of Boerne, Attention: Business Office, 113 Cascade Caverns Rd., Boerne, TX 78015; St. Helena’s Episcopal Church, 410 N.
