Lloyd William Meseck passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012, in Boerne, Texas. He was 87 years old. He was born in Storm Lake, Iowa to Arthur and Melinda Meseck on May 25, 1924. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy Mae Meseck, his brother Lawrence Meseck, and his sister Cleora Slater.

Lloyd is survived by his children, Sharon Kay McRoberts and her husband Ed of Buffalo, TX, Greg Meseck and his wife Cheryl of Boerne, and Gary Meseck of Houston; grandaughters Kim Pettit and husband Don of Houston, Kris King and husband David of Columbus, Miss., Karyn Knight and husband Michael of Waller, Aimee Middleton and husband Jonathon of Grand Prairie, and Taryn Young and husband Jason of San Antonio; great grandchildren, Krysten, Kalie, Brittani, Tyler, Cheyenne, Cody, Haylie, Allison, and Austen; sister Arlene Grienke and her husband Gilbert; former daughter-in-law Gayle Meseck; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 5000 W. Tidwell, Houston, Tx 77901. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Forward Faithfully at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
