Obituary:

Sally Pearson Strube went home to the Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the age of 94. She was born on May 19, 1917, to Abraham Franklin Pearson and Jane Seamans Pearson in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin Strube, her son Michael Strube, her sister Veronica Pearson, and her brother Jack Pearson.

Sally moved to Texas with her parents in 1926 from Pennsylvania. She loved spending time with friends in the Hill Country where she meet Edwin Strube of Waring. They married on March 28, 1941, and lived in the Waring/Welfare area until moving to Boerne. She worked for many years until retiring from Town and Country Manor Nursing Home. She was an avid quilter and was a member of the Waring Thimble Club.

She is survived by her son, Edwin Pearson Strube of Houston; her daughter Anna Jane Maloy and husband Arlyn of Boerne; her daughter-in-law Deborah Strube of Spring; her six precious grandchildren, Sally Ruth Strube of Conroe, Edwin Euclid Strube and wife Theresa of Conroe, Lisa Maloy Jones and husband Robert of San Antonio, Ross Strube and wife Shae of Muskogee, OK, Craig Strube of Houston and Jeremy Maloy of Boerne; and her great grandchildren, Terrance Strube, Seth Strube, Zoe Strube, Brian Blazejack, Ashleigh Strube, Kadence Strube, and KarLee Strube.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home in Boerne. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home with interment following in the Boerne Cemetery.
