Roy G. Beck Jr. died December 11, 2011, in Spring Branch, Texas. Born in Galveston, Texas, he was preceded in death by his parents, his wife’s parents and a sister.

Roy graduated from Eudora High School in Eudora, Arkansas, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

During his twenty-eight years in the United States Air Force, he served in both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of fifty-seven years Patsy (Pat) Beck, his son Bob (Randy) Beck of Nashville, Tennessee, his daughter Pamela Paul and husband Jeff of Spring Branch, Texas, his daughter Paula Robinson and husband Carey of Roanoke, Virginia, his sister, Carol Ann Beck Pritchard and husband Wesley of Vicksburg, Mississippi, as well as twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service with military honors will be held at Bulverde Baptist Church, Bulverde, Texas. Burial with graveside services will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Eudora, Arkansas.
