Obituary:

Karl Kuhn peacefully passed away among family and friends in the home he built on December 9, 2011. He was 75 years old. Karl was born on April 27, 1936, in Otterberg, Germany. He was an amazing husband and father, and a friend to many people. His presence with us will be greatly missed.

Karl moved from Germany in 1969, and immediately fell in love with America. He met his wife of 30 years, Christel, in 1981. It was love at first sight and they married later that year in September. Less than a year later, they had their son Kevin. Karl also had the honor of influencing the lives of Miriam Campbell with husband Scott, and Mark Cox with wife Amber. In 1984, Karl and Christel moved from Spokane, Washington to the Texas Hill Country. He built a successful masonry company and produced many beautiful works of art for his clients. He built a beautiful home for his family to continue his legacy. Karl enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Boerne Turn Verein for weekly bowling leagues and spent his later years playing dominoes at the Rainbow Center.

Karl has a surviving brother, Herbert Kuhn. He also had a beloved sister Hilde Kuhn-Lang and brother Rudy Kuhn who have also passed. Karl has 5 grandchildren; Hannah Campbell, Emma Campbell, Isabel Campbell, Lillian Campbell, and Garrett Cox.
