Georganna Metz Rogers, 57, peacefully left this earth in the early morning hours of November 9, 2011, losing her battle with cancer. Her family and loved ones were at her side. She was preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Hutsell and her husband Raymond Glen Rogers. She is survived by her children Jason Rogers and Jennifer Rogers.

She attended Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio and then Southwest Texas State. Shortly after graduation, she began working for the Benson organization. She spent the next 33 years working for Tom and Larry Benson where she became one of the most successful and highly respected people in the automotive industry.

She was a leader to some, a mentor to many, and a friend to all. Above all, she made a positive difference in everyone’s life.

The family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Bogaev as well as Dr. J. Brant Ellis for their dedicated efforts in Georganna’s most difficult fight.

A celebration of Georganna’s life will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Leon Springs on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., 8500 Cross Mountain Trail, San Antonio Texas 78255.
