Reba Dooley, age 79, of Boerne, TX went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 31, 2011. She was born one of five children on September 9, 1932, in Lone Oak, TX to Dale and Willie Morris. She married her husband of almost 60 years, EJ Dooley, on December 31, 1952, in Texarkana, AR.

Reba graduated from St. Paul’s Nursing School in Dallas, TX in 1954, and began a forty year career as an RN and nursing instructor. Her career took her from Greenville to Lubbock and eventually to San Antonio where she began teaching nursing in 1964 at St. Phillip’s College. Her retirement in 1994 marked the end to a dedicated life of care-giving, teaching, and healing.

Reba is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Willie Morris; one brother, J.D. Morris; and two sisters, Luann Pendleton and Mary (Sis) Money. She is survived by her husband, EJ Dooley of Boerne; two sons, Mark Dooley and his wife Robin of Montgomery, TX and Mike Dooley of Boerne, TX; three grandsons, Sean Dooley of Conroe, TX, Ryan Dooley and his wife Jessica of Conroe, TX, and Christopher Dooley of Boerne, TX; and one brother, Harvey Morris and his wife Mary of Sulphur Springs, TX.

A private family Memorial Service will be held in Boerne, TX and by Reba's request she will be cremated and buried with a grave side service in the family plot at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Lone Oak, TX.
