Rueben Francis Klar passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011, in San Antonio at the age of 79. He was born on December 9, 1931, in San Antonio to Bruno and Hedwig Klar. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Rueben is survived by his wife Martha Klar, his only child Hedel (Kathy) Haskett and her husband Dwayne, his grandson Brylee Rueben Haskett, his brother Harry Klar and his wife Theresa, and his sister Emmeline Whitworth and her husband Lloyd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 17, 2011, from 5-7:00 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home.
