Cristela “Cris” Perez Trevino passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the age of 54. She was born in Dilley, TX on March 10, 1957, to Manuel and Lydia Trevino. She is preceded in death by her father.

Cris was a 1975 Pearsall High School graduate. She attended college and then went to work in Pearsall with Dr. Daniel Schmidt for many years. She then worked for Dr. Robert Gorham for a few years more. She loved life, enjoyed traveling, and really liked watching the Dallas Cowboys play. She was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for over forty years. She firmly believed in Jehovah’s promise of a resurrection here on Earth where she could once again enjoy life without health issues. She will be sorrowfully missed by all her friends and Witness friends in Pearsall, Devine, and Boerne. Also by her relatives in San Antonio, Kerrville, and California who loved her and were always by her side, helping and encouraging her through her illnesses. But most of all, she will be missed by her family who loved her and took care of her.

Cris is survived by her mother Lydia Perez Trevino, her brother Eddie Trevino and his wife Dolores, her sister Lisa Trevino Cantu and her husband Joe, and her nieces Vanessa Trevino Cobb and her husband Michael, Lauren Trevino, and Kailyn Trevino.
