Lauren Kathryn Gauthier, 22, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2011, in Boerne, TX. She was born on May 23, 1988, to Darlene and Rusty Gauthier in San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her Papa Clay Bain, her grandmother Kathryn Bain, her grandfather Edward Arthur Gauthier, and grandmother Ursula Gauthier.

Lauren was a graduate of Boerne High School. She was currently a Junior at Texas State University majoring in Marketing and Advertising with a specialization in Music. She had a passion for music and a gift for recognizing new talent. She was an avid fisherwoman. Her family traveled the continental U.S. and Alaska, as well as Canada, while she hauled in her share of whoppers in fashionista style. She grew up hiking, camping, and whitewater rafting with her family across the Western U.S. Lauren had a unique way of bringing laughter and joy to those around her with her dynamic personality. Her family was blessed to behold her and will forever be touched by her love and devotion. She will greatly be missed and forever remembered.

Lauren is survived by: her parents Darlene and Rusty Gauthier; her sister Heather Gauthier; her aunts Jackie Gauthier and Ginger Gauthier; her uncles Christopher Bain and Dan Bain; and Betty Bain. She is also survived by her cousins: Michael and Chris Gowanlock, Brad Davis, Jimmy Davis, Wayne Galbraith, Jennifer Galbraith, Julie Yelton, Laura Galbraith, Jennifer Bain, Bianca Walaski, and JT Walaski. She leaves behind her faithful black Lab Walli Denali and numerous friends.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011, from 6 – 7:30 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 PM at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 25, 2011, at 11:30 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
