Manuel Flores Trevino passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011, at the age of 83. He was born in Pearsall, TX on January 5, 1928, and was one of eight children.

On January 27, 2011, his wife and he celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife Lydia Perez Trevino, his son Eddie Trevino and his wife Dolores, his daughter Cristela Trevino, his daughter Lisa Trevino Cantu and her husband Joe, and his granddaughters Vanessa, Lauren, and Kailyn. Manuel is also survived by: his three brothers Oscar Trevino, Juan Trevino, and Rodolfo Trevino; and by his two sisters Olivia Trevino Chappins and Olga Trevino Coronado. He was preceded in death by two of his sisters: Cesaria Trevino Villarreal and Guadalupe Trevino Rodriguez.

Mr. Trevino was a lifelong resident of Pearsall, Texas. He was a baptized Jehovah’s Witness for over 50 years, and served as a Congregation Elder for over 30 years. He was a faithful servant of Jehovah and will truly be missed by his wife, family, and friends.

Memorial Services will be held in both English and Spanish. English Services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the Kindgom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (304 N. School St., Boerne, TX) at 7 PM. Spanish Services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (315 S. Trevino St., Pearsall, TX) at 3 PM.
