Obituary:

Our Lord and Savior called Frank “Jared” Stenberg to join him on May 25, 2010. Born on April 23, 1971, Jared was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Mary Caldcleugh, Frank Stenberg and John Phifer. He is survived by his dedicated and loyal wife, Edna Elizondo-Stenberg, his two beautiful and precious children, Junah Stenberg, age five, and Jagar Stenberg, age three, his mother, Mary Louise Stenberg, father, Francis Joseph “Joe” Stenberg, his grandmother, Dorothy Phifer and Joe Stenberg’s significant other, Virginia Rivera, and numerous special relatives and friends. Born and raised in San Antonio, Jared graduated from MacArther High School, received an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio, and completed his education by receiving his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law. He was licensed to practice law in 1999. Shortly after being licensed, he joined the Carlson Law Firm in 2000 and was put in charge of the San Antonio regional offices. Jared became partner in 2006. He was a vital player in the success of The Carlson Law Fim.

Jared lived a full life. He was continuously surrounded by countless friends and family members who loved and cherished him. He never rushed in conversation with friends, and all friends he made became friends for life. He loved companionship, beer, and bar-b-que. Jared never left a friend or family member’s side in times of trouble and would sacrifice himself when called upon. He will be most missed for the joy and happiness he brought to many. Just one look at Jared with his bright eyes and winning smile would make anyone immediately aware of his open, friendly nature.

Jared married Edna Elizondo-Stenberg on October 14, 2000, and was a dedicated and devoted husband. Each day they were together, he told her that he loved her and they never parted without a kiss. His last name was changed to “and Edna” because wherever one of them went, the other was always there. Once God blessed him with children, he became a caring and nurturing father. He constantly provided his children with love and attention, and his true joy in life was returning home every day from work to be with his wife and children.

A visitation is scheduled on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 5:00 pm, followed by a 7:00 pm Rosary at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home, 111 Rosewood Avenue, Boerne, Texas 78006.
