Marvin “Marty” Moreau passed away in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 64 on August 24, 2009. He was born to Pauline (Polly) Lancaster Moreau and Robert Moreau in San Antonio on December 22, 1944. He is preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Moreau was a Corporal in the Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. He loved to joke around with others and had a different joke to share every day. He enjoyed traveling, reading, puzzles, dominoes, cards, and pool. He cherished his time playing board games with his mom. He was an inspiration to his daughter Cassandra and encouraged her every step she took. He made her feel as though she could do no wrong.

Marvin is survived by his mother Pauline (Polly) Lancaster Moreau of Boerne, his daughters Cassandra Moreau of San Antonio and Rose Ann Gamble of Kernersville, North Carolina, and his son Ryan Moreau of San Antonio. He also leaves behind his brother, Douglas Moreau and his wife Donna of Pipe Creek, Texas. He will be missed not only by his family but also by the many, many friends he made over the years.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 27, 2009, from 6-8PM at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, August 28, 2009, at 10AM at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. A military interment with honors will be held at 2:15PM Friday, August 28, 2009, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward funeral expenses by sending them to Polly Moreau at 208 S. Brackenridge, Boerne, Texas 78006.
